Eddie is a Chartered fellow with the Institute of Chartered Logistics and Transport (CILT-UK) and holds advanced IATA/FIATA Diplomas alongside another Diploma in Credit Management and has 37 years of practical experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry.

In 1994 he founded Combine Cargo (Mw) Ltd. A focused entrepreneur, Eddie has devoted all his energy to bring the company to its present level through his participatory leadership and management style. Eddie is married to Anna and have four daughters. Eddie spends his free time at a local gym and at times plays social golf. Eddie congregates at Nkowa CCAP, Mpemba, as a retired elder.

Mr. Emmanuel Somozani worked for Manica Freight Services for over 15 years in various management positions until in 1998 when he joined Combine Cargo (Mw) Ltd. He is qualified in Marketing and Business Administration. He is the force behind the accomplishment of business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing marketing strategies; and managing sales and marketing team.

A devout Catholic, Emmanuel believes in producing best results in everything he does. He has 4 lovely children.

Sales and Marketing Executive

Mrs. Esther Chafumuka is the Sales and Marketing Executive, a qualified Business Administrator responsible for providing effective and responsive corporate services and support functions at Combine Cargo Malawi Limited. She is a multi-tasker, able to pick tasks and deliver results with high level of customer service. Her job involves delivery of effective general office administration, procurement, risk and insurance management, training and property management services. Esther is committed to her work and always wants to see achievement of results.

Esther is married to Joseph Chafumuka and have three adorable daughters. She loves being with her family, teaching children at Church and having fun with her friends.

Human Resources and Administration Director

Mrs. Anna Kaluwa is qualified Human Resources and Administration seasoned practitioner and also a qualified secretary. Before joining Combine Cargo Malawi Ltd she worked with Chizumila Msiska and Company a Law firm for eight years. In 1998, she decided to team up with Eddie as Director for Secretarial and Administrative functions.

She has accumulated over 15 years of work experience in Administration, Business Operations and General Accounts with a bias towards human resources management, specifically in the following areas: employee sourcing, recruiting, training, employee relations, career management and performance management.

Anna is a humble, soft spoken lady with a motherly heart for all. She is a lady of leisure. She likes jogging, aerobics, dancing and swimming.

Chief Accountant

Mr. Joseph Mbewe (FCCA, CA (M)) has a vast experience having previously worked with Carlsberg as Group Chief Accountant and as Chief Accountant with various subsidiaries of Press Group. before joining the management team here at Combine Cargo.

Joseph has a passion for figures and has been the man putting the Combine Cargo financial information under the microscope and is responsible for preparation of financial reports to determine and maintain a reliable record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or all other financial activities in the organisation.

while our Operations department is busy combining cargo for consolidations, Joseph is busy combining figures. He is a man of integrity who is committed to his profession.

Operations Manager

Allan is the company’s Operations Manager. He has nine years experience in the company with proven strengths in customer care service, sales and negotiations gained over the period as he moved through the corridors of Combine Cargo from operations to customer care section and now heads the Sales department.

Allan is a skilled and qualified marketer with a diploma in Marketing (CIM). He is a competent operational management personnel with the welfare of people and achieving organisational interest at heart.

He successfully develops operational strategies to actualize short and mid-range goals of the company.

Branch Manager

Mr. Patrick Chapulumuka is an all rounder manning Combine Cargo Lilongwe, Dedza, Mchinji and Songwe offices. He has 11 years (11) of experience in the operations of the company which enables him to undertake business development activities, sales, account relationship management and employee relationship. Patrick has passion for his job and is always ready to serve customers under his jurisdiction with dedication. His aim is to exceed all customer’s expectations.
